Are you ready to become a Drupal champion?

What is Drupal?

Drupal is the content management system (CMS) that stores all of our website's pages and assets. Drupal has been customized to fit the Trinity University brand and is maintained by the web team in Strategic Communications and Marketing.

Web Browser Requirements

You can access Drupal from any device with Internet access. Your Drupal experience will work best with the following recommended supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Latest release
  • Firefox: Latest release
  • Safari OSX: Latest release
  • Opera: Latest release
  • Internet Explorer: 9+
  • Safari iOS: Latest two releases
  • Android: 4+
  • IE Mobile: 4+

How to Log In - Becoming a Drupal Champion

Access to Drupal must be first administered by a member of the Web Team. A member will setup and authenticate your account. Once authenticated, you are free to login to Drupal 24/7, 365 days of the year.

  1. Go to https://inside.trinity.edu/user
  2. Use your TUNetwork username and password. Use only your TU username, not your full email address.

Changing your password

Passwords are authenticated through the University active directory. If you need to change your password, please use Password Reset first, and then log into Drupal.

*Note: it is highly recommended that you DO NOT change your password within Drupal. It will be overridden with your TU password credentials.

Navigating through the Drupal Interface

Once you are logged in, a greeb toolbar will appear at the top of your screen. You will remained logged into Drupal until you log out.

Home icon - Takes you directly to https://inside.trinity.edu

Find Content - Provides a list of all the site content that you have access to

Web Toolkit  - Links to the online training materials

Hello [name] - Links to your Drupal profile

Log Out - Logs you out of Drupal

Find Content

Find Content shows all of the site content that you have access to and displays members of your group and when they were last logged in.

Filtering content  - You can filter through the Find Content pane in the following ways:

  • Search by Page Title
  • Author (use username)
  • Published (Yes / No)
  • Search by Group (use if you are a member of more than one group)

Operations:

Edit, publish, unplublish, or change the author using the Execute function.

Group Name:

Click on the Group Name to view members and content of your office / department group.

Your Drupal Profile

Access your Drupal profile from the top green menu bar by selecting Hello [username]. Your profile displays how long you have been a Drupal member, and an Edit button so that you can go in and change your Time Zone settings, etc.
