Carmen is the Programs Manager of Trinity Entrepreneurship where her aim is to develop one of the best entrepreneurship programs available in private education. She oversees major programs and events for the center, marketing efforts, and manages a small team of student workers and a staff person while bringing accountability, growth, and structure to Trinity Entrepreneurship. Some of the programs she works on include Students + Startups, the Summer Accelerator, the Stumberg Venture Competition, and San Antonio Startup Week, among others.
Jessica Tamayo is a San Antonio native who earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio where she majored in Sociology and minored in Russian. As Program Coordinator, Jessica provides support for the initiatives in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Martínez is the Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship where he teaches courses in entrepreneurship and innovation; mentors student startups; and facilitates connecting Trinity students and faculty with entrepreneurs and accredited investors. He is responsible for all aspects of Trinity’s Entrepreneurship program, Trinity’s Technology and Licensing efforts, and helping make every student, faculty, staff and alumni become more innovative and entrepreneurial. Over the past five years, he has facilitated the launch of over 30 Trinity student ventures.
