Katherine Hewitt, MPH, CHES is the Coordinator of Wellness Services on campus.
Katherine has served in the role of Trinity's first Wellness Coordinator for the past three years. She oversees health education programs for students, faculty, and staff. She is a part-time instructor in the Physical Education department teaching an experiential learning wellness practicum and independent study students. She serves on several university committees including the Coalition for Respect, Safety Security and Health, plus chairs the Staff & Faculty wellness committee. Katherine was instrumental in the process of making Trinity a tobacco-free campus in 2017.
Katherine received her Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification in May 2016.
Prior to Trinity, Katherine had four years of experience coordinating health and wellness programs in a non-profit setting, supporting health care providers, human service employees and community volunteers, aiming to bridge the gap between public health and health care.
