The Upper-Division Area is comprised of junior and senior students along with the HOPE Hall and Swashbuckler communities.
Resident Assistants in the upper-division halls, proudly serve as paraprofessional staff in Residential Life. In addition to encouraging a fun and respectful community environment, they help residents resolve problems and find resources. The staff member to student ratio in the upper-division area is approximately 1:80 - providing a more autonomous experience for third and fourth year students. With the increased autonomy, students are encouraged to take ownership of their living environment and create the community they desire. While RAs in the Upper-Division Area offer fewer programs than those in the First-Year Area or Sophomore College, they are always available if you have any questions or concerns.
