  • COVID-19 Information

As we adapt to the realities of COVID-19, changes were made to this Fall semester. Details along with updates related to QRS Center are available on the COVID-19 Updates page. Visit this page for the official, up-to-date details.

Welcome to the Quantitative Reasoning and Skills (QRS) Center! We are located in the Tiger Learning Commons (TLC) of the Library, alongside Academic Coaching, Student Accessibility Services, and the Writing Center.

Looking for help with mathematics- or statistics-related coursework? Come to the Center during in-person or virtual drop-in hours.

The mission of the QRS Center is to provide Trinity students with resources and support for quantitatively-demanding coursework and academic endeavors that involve quantitative reasoning.

We offer

  • peer tutoring in many of the quantitatively-demanding disciplines (e.g., economics, mathematics, physics, statistics, etc.), as well as support for problem solving and general quantitative skills (e.g., graphing, solving equations, trigonometry).
  • workshops throughout the year on a wide range of topics, and
  • one-on-one assistance with academic endeavors that involve mathematics or statistics (e.g., getting started in R, preparing for the GRE).

In addition to providing support for students, the QRS Center also works with faculty to foster quantitative reasoning across the disciplines.

If you have any questions about the QRS Center, feel free to email the Director, Luke Tunstall at stunstal [at]
