Trinity University Career Services is a central hub for employers and recruiters. Trinity students and graduates are equipped with critical thinking and analytical skills that make them inspiring and innovative learners and researchers.

Employer Responsibilities

  • To provide accurate information about job openings
  • To post legitimate job openings
  • To develop salary structures in line with the competing job market
  • To contact students in a timely fashion about the progress of their applications
  • To maintain contact with Career Services on the status of posted positions
  • To contact Career Services in a timely manner when a job has been filled
  • To adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers

Hire-A-Tiger & Other Recruitment Resources

To efficiently and effectively deliver many services, the Office of Career Services provides Hire-A-Tiger, a fully automated job posting and referral system. Through Hire-A-Tiger recruiters can:

  • Post company/organization contact profiles
  • Advertise for  job or internship vacancies
  • Request candidate resumes
  • Schedule on-campus interviews
  • Post salary information
  • Participate in career fairs, non-profit fairs, or graduate/professional school fairs

In addition, Career Services can assist recruiters with several other on-campus activities:

  • Fall and spring career fairs
  • Internship Development
  • Speaking with faculty or student groups
  • Coordination of Information Sessions
  • Coordination of Information Tables
  • On-line Mentoring
  • Hosting job shadowing opportunities
  • Participation in on-campus career programs (such as professional practice interview days)
  • Sponsoring Career Services Programs
  • Coordination of communication with campus newspaper
