Our core research informs and impacts academic theory, business practice, and public policy. Our pedagogical research focuses on helping university professors deliver high quality educational experiences for their students.
At the Trinity University School of Business, our faculty are teachers and scholars. We conduct research on a broad range of topics related to accounting, decision sciences, finance, international business, management, and marketing. For example, recent Accounting research findings have implications for the current policy debate regarding audit quality and audit market competition. Business Administration faculty have investigated issues ranging from global patent system integration to immigrants' adaptation to host countries. Finally, recent Finance & Decision Sciences research has addressed issues related to agile software development methods, the importance of lead users in software development, and factors critical in influencing students' IT career decisions.
