The Trinity University transcript contains a student's official permanent academic record, certified by the Registrar. Because it contains confidential information, the transcript can only be released upon written request from the student or upon request made by the student through a secure, password protected system. The University Registrar does not provide unofficial transcripts. TRINITY UNIVERSITY has retained Credentials Solutions to process electronic transcript orders using TranscriptsPlus. Please see instructions below. If you experience issues placing an online order, you can call Credentials Solutions at 847-716-3005 to assist with placing your transcript request.

  • Transcripts for Former Students may be ordered online (for expedited processing), or by fax, mail, or in-person. All written requests must contain the required personal information as stated below and have the student's signature authorizing the release of the transcript.
  • Transcripts for currently enrolled students and recent graduates should be ordered online from TigerPAWS
  • In order to prevent release to unauthorized parties and to adhere to Federal law, telephone requests are not accepted.
  • Transcripts are produced by the Office of the Registrar in official hard copy or official electronic format only.
  • The Office of the Registrar does not provide unofficial transcripts or other unofficial documents.


Transcripts will normally be mailed within 3-4 business days from our receipt of the request. However, in special cases (i.e., archived records, requests for additional information, etc.) additional processing time may be necessary. During peak times, such as registration and grading, processing may take longer.

EXPEDITED PROCESSING is available for online orders. Transcripts requested using our TranscriptsPlus service are processed within one business day; overnight delivery is available. Additional charges apply.

PLEASE NOTE: Transcripts will not be released for students with outstanding balances due to Trinity University or who are in default on student loans. We will notify you as soon as the Office of Student Financial Services informs us there is a hold on your account, but we cannot be responsible for any delay in processing your transcript request if there is a hold on your record due to outstanding financial obligations.[top of page]

Official transcripts are provided to current and former Trinity students for $5 each for normal processing. Expedited processing, international and overnight delivery is also available -- additional charges may apply.


Information Required on Transcript Requests:

  • Current name and any other name used while a Trinity student
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Contact Information:  current address, telephone number, and email address
  • Dates of attendance at Trinity as an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Education Level: Undergraduate, Graduate, or both
  • Degree(s) received, if any
  • Address(es) where you want your transcript(s) sent and the number to be sent to each address
  • Signature on the request.


To Request a Transcript by Mail
Submit a signed letter with the required personal information noted above to:

 Send all of the above required information in the form of a letter to Registrar, Trinity University: (210) 999-7202. Be sure to sign your fax.

Current students
Normal processing: Log onto TigerPAWS, click on "TigerPAWS for Students" and then on "Transcript Request". Log on when prompted (contact the ITS Helpdesk if you have problems logging on). Fill out all required information, then click submit.
Expedited processing: Log onto TranscriptsPlus (, Trinity's online request provider, and follow step-by-step instructions. Overnight delivery is available. Additional charges apply.
