Trinity University offers wireless access to the Internet and the Trinity network. There are two wireless networks available across all of upper and lower campus including the residence halls: TUSecure is for Trinity students, faculty, and staff, and TUGuest is for all Trinity guests. We offer 802.11n wireless speeds across campus, which is the latest in wireless technology. 802.11n is also backward compatible with 802.11n b/g wireless cards and makes upgrading hardware unnecessary.
Use of both wireless networks requires a Trinity network account. Guests can create temporary accounts which will allow them immediate access to the internet.
The TigerCard office has made software available that allows students using the wireless network to print the labs using Pharos Uniprint. For instructions on how to download and install the software, please read entry #1 on the TigerCard Office FAQ page.
Faculty and staff can wirelessly print to network printers.
TUSecure is the primary network used by students, faculty, and staff. It gives users access to all Trinity network resources and provides wireless encryption.
TUGuest provides guests access to the internet by allowing them to create their own temporary accounts.
TUGuest is only used on a temporary basis by member of Trinity community while they configure their computer or device to use TUSecure. It gives users only limited access to the internet and does not provide wireless encryption.
