Information Technology Services hires student workers to assist staff in providing service to the University. Eligibility for employment is determined by the Office of Human Resources - Student Placement (x7507). Applications and job descriptions for open positions may be obtained from Human Resources.
Students earn money by taking part in an online, self-paced coding program to learn Apple's Swift language for the purpose of developing iOS apps. All FWS students are encouraged to join.
Office Assistants work in the main Information Technology Services administrative office (Halsell 332).
ACCs (Academic Computing Consultants) work for the HelpDesk division in ITS, either at the Information Commons HelpDesk located in the Library on the main floor or in the HelpDesk staff office located in Halsell 226.
RCCs (Residential Computing Consultants) assist ITS with technical support for students and work in the Student Computer Service Center (Witt-Winn 042).
The Academic Technology student employees work at the Front Desk, Distribution, Production, and Instructional Support.
