Please come by CUC to sign in, pick up a schedule, some swag, and a snack before starting your day. The Family Weekend Welcome Team is happy to provide directions, answer questions, and provide coupons for the University bookstore.

Attend an Open Class (Various Locations)
Many faculty make their classes available for family attendance. Open class options will be posted to this website closer to the date.

Lunch and Learn 
"Entrepreneurship Careers: Leaders, Creators, Initiators"
Join entrepreneur parents and alumni in roundtable discussions about the variety of paths and experiences that lead to an entrepreneurial career. Meet leaders, creators, and initiators from several industries and collect information for your student's journey. Parents and students are welcome. Nacho Hour (Coates University Center, Lobby)
Hosted by Parent Council
Join in on this weekly tradition and fill up on all-you-can-eat nacho bar.

Student Leadership Awards (Chapman Center, Great Hall)
The Division of Student Life invites award recipients and their guests/families to attend the awards presentation and reception for student leadership and excellence.

4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
San Antonio Fiesta! 
Hosted by Parent Council
Parents, along with their students, are invited to mix, mingle, and enjoy tasty Tex-Mex treats and beverages. Meet our new Director for Diversity and Inclusion, Alli Roman, and get to know your fellow #TUParents in an informal setting. Honor Awards Convocation (Parker Chapel)
Each academic department will recognize students for their achievements in scholarship, research, or departmental involvement. Various other University awards and prestigious scholarships will also be presented.

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m 
Student Academic and Experiential Learning Talent Showcase (Center for the Sciences and Innovation, Room 282 and lobby)
All families are welcome to the President’s Reception and the Student Talent Showcase. Come explore projects of students who engaged in experiential learning through civic involvement, internships, undergraduate research, and study abroad opportunities.  The Academic showcase will feature student demonstrations of their research and capstone projects.

Spring Family Weekend Service Project (Fiesta Room)
Stop by the service project for Spring Family Weekend at the Fiesta Room in the Coates University Center. The project will include 3 stations: (1) Hygiene kit-making, (2) card-making, and (3) a Shoe Box project. During the service project, students and their families will assemble hygiene kits and write notes of encouragement to clients served by Meals on Wheels.

Students will be presented with their Trinity rings at this memorable campus tradition hosted by the Trinity University Alumni Association and the Student Ambassadors.

Student Programming Board will be hosting a San Antonio Fiesta inspired event on April 7th at 7:00 pm by Murchison Tower. Students and families are welcome to enjoy delicious food and games! This event will end with students and families enjoying time together and watching the award winning 2017 Pixar animated film, Coco!

Parking and Hotel Information

Alamo Stadium Parking Lots: The entrance to one parking lot is located at the traffic light directly across from the sidewalk to Northrup. The entrance to the other lot is just south of the light. Both lots are available on Friday from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. On Friday, cars must be removed no later than 4:30 p.m. Both of these lots are closed to the university on weekends.

On Campus Parking: On Saturday and Sunday, the campus will be "open parking" for parents and family members. However, parking in fire lanes, loading docks and handicap areas (without permit) will not be permitted. Also, the 24-hour reserved parking signs on lower campus will be enforced.

Trinity has composed a list of hotels in the downtown and airport area of San Antonio, some at a discounted rate.
