Room Reservations

The Collaborative hosts space for discussions on teaching and student learning including a meeting room for up to 24 people, a lounge area for informal faculty conversations, and a library of pedagogical literature.

The meeting room is available for organized events and meetings that align with the Collaborative's mission as a learning and teaching commons. Below is a list of the technology and resources available in the space:

All reservations must be made through T-Space.  Please note: submitting a request does not guarantee that your space is reserved. When the reservation has been confirmed, the requestor will receive an email with "CONFIRMED" in the subject line (usually 3-5 days after a request is submitted).

Criteria for Meeting Room Use 

Events in the Collaborative must meet one of the following criteria: 

  • Link directly to the teaching activities of Trinity faculty. 
  • Foster discussion and/or collaboration to promote the curricular goals of the University.
  • Share information on student learning with teaching faculty and staff at Trinity. 

Guidelines for Meeting Room Use 

  • Events must be held during regular library hours. 
  • Events should end on time so that the room can be cleared or prepared for other meetings. The Collaborative must be vacated at least 10 minutes before closing time. 
  • If food or beverages are served, the group is responsible for cleaning up food debris from desks/floor and spills immediately. All garbage should be gathered and disposed of properly in trash cans prior to leaving. 
  • Alcohol is permitted as long as an approved alcohol permission form is copied to the Collaborative's administrative assistant in advance of the event.

Set-up and Equipment 

  • Any special set-up, presentation aids, or equipment needs (not included in the list above) must be included on the T-Space request. Catering arrangements are to be made with Aramark. 
  • The Collaborative cannot provide equipment technicians. If instruction is required for equipment operation, it is suggested that a representative of the group request instruction ahead of time. 
  • All equipment in the Collaborative must be shut down properly following the event. 
  • To affix any materials to the walls of the Collaborative, use poster putty or blue painter's tape only.
