Collaborative Institutes

Collaborative Institutes provide development opportunities where faculty and teaching staff can be trained on specific pedagogical methods and practices.

How Do Institutes Work?

Through a series of seminar-style workshops and online modules developed by the Collaborative, faculty and teaching staff explore the theoretical frameworks and practical applications of a particular pedagogical approach or method. The organization and structure of individual institutes varies depending on topic.

What Is Required of Participants?

Participants will be required to commit to a semester-long program. During that time, they will complete assignments and readings, engage in discussions with their fellow participants, and collaborate on tangible deliverables that can be incorporated directly into their courses. In return, participants who complete an institute will receive a certificate of completion, indicating their training on a given topic.

What Are the Upcoming Collaborative Institutes?
