Kaissi's book "Flipping Health Care: Retail Clinics and Convenient Care Models" was published by IGI Global in October. Kaissi is on academic leave for the Fall semester working on new research projects. He is serving on the University Presidential Search Committee
Stefl has returned to the classroom and is teaching Organizational Theory and Behavior to the First Year On Campus students in the Fall. In June, she was invited to the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics to talk about U.S. Health Care Reform. Locally, she made presentations about the U.S. Health Care System as part of the Shanghai - San Antonio Policy Institute (August) and to a delegation from San Antonio's sister city of Wuxi, China (October). Furthermore, she was invited to discuss the economic impact of San Antonio's Healthcare and Bioscience industry to the Health Cell, a local professional membership organization (August), and the San Antonio Healthcare Foundation (October). She continues to serve as Board Member of Goodwill San Antonio, Project Quest (San Antonio) and Academy for Health Care Improvement.
