Curricular and Pedagogical Innovations Grants

Curricular and Pedagogical Innovations Grants are designed to help faculty members enhance the quality of education at Trinity by taking advantage of new technologies, new teaching methods, and new approaches to knowledge. We encourage submissions on behalf of individuals, departments, and programs, and we are particularly interested in proposals that reach across disciplinary lines or that extend out into the community. The principal criterion for selection will be the degree to which the proposed project will enrich student learning within the Trinity curriculum.

The funds are allocated through the Office of Academic Affairs. Award amounts will vary depending on the scope and complexity of the proposed project.

Each proposal should include a brief narrative that addresses the following items:

  • Ways in which this project will enhance student learning, including the specific learning goals that this project will address;
  • Schedule of work to be done under the grant;
  • Budget (including supplies and expenses, if any);
  • Support of the departmental chair.

At the end of the grant period, each faculty member should submit to Academic Affairs a brief report evaluating the success of the project.
