Information Technology Policies

The information technology policies contained in this section apply to the entire Trinity University community and its guests. All persons using Trinity University equipment, connections, or software, are bound by these rules and policies and the rules and policies found in the University handbooks.

All members of the Trinity community are responsible for using these resources in an effective, efficient, and ethical manner that does not interfere with the reasonable use by other community members or endanger the University. In particular, University employees who deal with sensitive data are required to exercise due diligence with regard to privacy and security policies and practices.

While many technology policies are maintained by Information Technology Services (ITS), supplemental policies and guidelines apply to technology in the library and other academic offices and departments.

Be aware of the application of these technology policies when using Trinity University equipment or the Trinity University Internet network, both wired and wireless.
